- The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) on behalf of the Office of the Provost Marshall General intends to negotiate a sole source Delivery Order to CACI, Inc Federal, 14151 Park Meadow Dr.Chantilly Va 20151. The proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate using the authority 6.301-1, only one responsible source. This acquisition period of performance is for one year. T he NAICS code for this acquisition is 541511. The services are for the development of the Working Dog Management Systems (WDMS). This systems is used to track a Military Working Dog (MWD) through its lifecycle. The software tracks all dog handlers assigned to a dog, utilization hours of a team, proficiency training of the team, and information needed to ensure that the team maintains it certification. WDMS tracks the dog from its procurement at 341st Training Squadron, through its initial assignment to the Army and through all of its assignments, to the day it is retired. The Army recently added two new additions to the Military Working Dog community: Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to award a contract nor will the Government pay for information solicited. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Go vernment will consider all capability statements received by 19 Sep 2006, 10:00 am. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
