Description

The Army Contracting Agency, Fort Hood Contracting Command intents to award a sole source contract to K-Tech Aviation, Inc, 6001 S Wilmot RD, Tucson, AZ on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one Responsible Source and No Oth er Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). The proposed procurement is for: Line Item 0001: 240 each M4 (Rifle) bolt head conversion kits, Part# 01-2052. Line Item 0002: 240 each M9 Beretta 92f (Pistol) conversion ki ts, Parts#01-2008. Line Item 0003: 240 each Face Mask for conversion kits. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining wheth er to conduct a competitive procurement. Ultimate Training Munitions (UTM) is the manufacture and K-Tech Aviation is the sole distributor local in the United State is K-Tech Aviation. These components and associated products are unique in the industry an d are used throughout the U.S. Army for Law enforcement training and future deployments. No telephone requests will be accepted.
