Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W911SA-06-T-0111 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is unrestricted under NAICS 721110 with the small business size standard of $6.5 million. CLIN 0001, 324 EACH LODGING ROOMS, 18 ROOMS PER DAY FOR THE PERIOD 17 SEP 06  4 OCT 06 (18 DAYS, CHECKOUT ON 5 OCT 06), 324 ROOMS TOTAL FOR THE 18 DAYS Standard double rooms, must have 2 beds per room, the government will pay only for the rooms actually used. Lodging location must be within 5 miles of Fort Sam Houston TX. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. Wage determination 1996-0260, Revision 18 applies to this acquisition and may be accessed at www.wdol.gov. Central Contractor Registration is re quired of all Department of Defense contractors. CCR registration enables electronic funds transfer of contract payments. If your company is not already registered, please register in the CCR database at www.ccr.gov. A DUNS number is required for CCR re gistration. If your company does not have a DUNS#, obtain one by calling 800-333-0505. If the prospective awardee for this request for quotes is not registered in the CCR database by the due date and time of this solicitation, the Contracting Officer wil l proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered offeror. Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. PARTIES INTERESTED IN RESPONDING TO RFQ may submit their q uote in accordance with standard commercial practice (i.e. quote form, letterhead, etc.) and MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Solicitation number; lodging location; offerors complete mailing and remittance addresses; discount terms; unit price and extended total price; DUNS number; and taxpayer identification number (TIN).
