Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Regional Contracting Office  Bavaria intends to negotiate a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract with Thiessen Training System Gmbh, Schuchardstrasse, Dusseldorf, Germany. The movin g targetry is produced by the Theissen GmbH in Dusseldorf Germany. Theissen has a standing contract with the US Army and produces much of the targetry at Grafenwohr Training Area to include the targetry that TSAE is custodian of, namely the Deployable Ran ge Packages (DRPs). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firms technical capability to meet these requ irements by 21 September 2006, 10:00AM German Local Time. E-mail your response to MAJ James Conatser at james.conatser@us.army.mil In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested fir ms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed item. See Note 22 with the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 7 days instead of 45 days.
