- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued separately. The solicitation number is FA5000-06-T-0094. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated FAR provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001. The DFARS provisions and clauses are those in effect to DCN 20060814. Purchase ResQTec (model # RB0058, RB0023, 8700.1023, RHC530, RHCC530, RBLP03, RHS200, RHR105, 8700.1058, RBPC50, RBSC01, RBP075, RBR600A, RHR950, RBK000) for Air Bags and accessories.THIS REQUIREMENT IS FOR BRAND NAME ONLY. The ResQTec airbag is the only airbag specifically designed for large frame aircraft. ResQTec Nt series air bags are of the round form, flat surface with no stress points for less risk. ResQTec bags are connectable creating a stable and extreme lifting height of 26 3/16 for each bag. ResQTec airbags also have a point-load plate for lifting pointed objects and it is also equipped with grip handles that make it easier to carry and position the bags safely. FOB ELMENDORF AFB, ALASKA, requested delivery is no later than 30 November 2006. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated based on technically acceptable, lowest price.
