- This RFQ will only be available electronically. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This purchase request (PR) will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) under the following PR number: F2CFDN6194A100. (iii) This PR and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-05. (iv) The applicable NAICS is 423430, and the small business size standard is 100 employees. (v) This RFQ contains three (3) line item(s): 0001 = Sun Fire V440 Server, 4 1.593-GHz UltraSPARC IIIi Processors, 1-MB Internal Cache, 16-GB Memory, 4 73-GB 10000 RPM Ultra320 SCSI Disk Drives, 1 DVD-ROM Drive, 2 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet Ports, 1 DB9 (ttyb), 1 RJ45 (Console) Serial Ports, 4 USB Ports, 2 (1+1) Power Supplies, Java Enterprise System Software Pre-Installed, Solaris 10 Operating System Pre-Installed = QTY: 2, 0002 = Network Interface Adapter: The Sun Fire V440 server includes two integrated 10/100/1000 Ethernet adapters. Select an additional network interface adapter if needed. PCI Dual-Channel Ultra320 Differential SCSI Host Bus Adapter = QTY: 2, 0003 = Warranty Upgrade: The SunSpectrum support program provides various levels of support for Sun systems - from proactive, mission-critical service to basic self-maintenance support. You receive support for all Sun system components including hardware, the Solaris[tm] Operating Environment, and Sun-supported software that comes bundled with or embedded in your system. The Silver level support is recommended for this product. Warranty Upgrade to 3-Year Silver Support = QTY: 2. (vi) Delivery location is at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, specific shipping address information will be provided to the vendor who receives award. (vii) Acceptance will be performed by the Government. The FOB Point is destination. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. However, multiple offers will not be considered and only one award will be made. All offers must include a completed copy of their ORCA (http://orca.bpn.gov.). (ix) The contract will be awarded to the offeror that provides the lowest price to the government.
