Description

This is a notice of intent to solicit and negotiate a sole-source, brand name order with Mykotronx Inc, 9841 Broken Land Parkway, Suite 212, Columbia, MD for a repair service of KIV-7 cryptological equipment. The 6th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a purchase order for delivery under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements. Mykotronx is the sole manufacturer and the only National Security Agency authorized repair source for KIV-7 cryptological equipment. The NSA is the only agency that can certify vendors for the manufacture and repair of this equipment. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by NOON 23 SEPTEMBER 2006.
