- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA4417-05-Q-7090 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-05, Effective 26 Aug 2005 & Class Deviation 2005-o0001. This is a 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 333319 with a size standard of 500 employees; the SIC code is 3589. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, parts, shipping, and all other items necessary to provide the following items: Line Item 0001: MIOX Chlorination system including the following: MIOX SAL-80 Mixed Oxidant Generator to include twin tower water softener, 360 gallon oxidant tank, 100 gallon brine tank, brine pump, (2) SAL cell, spare parts package, surge arrester, 6 inch level switch, 10 inch single brine filter, 10 inch single water filter; Mixed Oxidant Chemical Feed System, LMI Metering Chemical Feed Pump to include 110v, 106 gph, .50 inches back pressure valve (PVC), .50 inches pressure relief valve, repair kit, pump base; Simply Water MSC 1500 Automatic Water Chemistry Controller to include ORP readout with oxidizer feed control, high and low alarms, run time (electrode included), pH readout with acid and base feed options, high and low alarms, run time (electrode included), temperature monitoring (electrode included), manual, automatic on/off, proportional feed controls, RS-232 serial communications port, flow cell assembly with paddle wheel flow switch, control valves, and water sample valve; Technical Assistance and Support to include telephone technical assistance via toll free response line is provided by contractor, telephone technical assistance includes troubleshooting and water chemistry consulting, all parts have availability for next day delivery, all equipment manuals are provided at time of installation. Contractor is also responsible for providing supervision of installation by a company technician and equipment start-up and operator training. FOB: Destination for delivery to Hurlburt Field, FL 32544. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition and will remain in full force in any resultant award: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items. It is amended to read: Offeror shall submit signed and dated offer to 16 CONS/LGCB, Attn: SSgt Jerad Snyder, 350 Tully St Bldg 90339, Hurlburt Field FL 32544-5810 by 22 September 2006 at or before 4:00 pm central standard time. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form and marked with solicitation number FA4417-06-Q-7031. Offer may be faxed to 850-884-2041 or 850-884-1272. No proposal will be accepted by email. The government reserves the right to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with offerors.
