- ISSUE DATE: 9/14/06. Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary for Leamy Hall Chiller Replacement at U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT (New London County). The work includes removal and disposal of (3) air cooled reciprocating and condensing units and associated pumps and piping. The work also includes the installation of a single stage absorption chiller, cooling towers and associated pumps and piping and incidental related work. The estimated cost range of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 9/14/06. The bid opening date is scheduled for 10/16/2006 at 11:00 a.m. The performance time period is anticipated to be 34 weeks. This solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR Part 19 and is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable NAIS code is 238220 and the size standard is $13 million.
