Description

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to award a contract for the evaluation of writing samples submitted as part of the hiring process for specific job types. CBP requires that each essay test be graded by experts in English language composition. Specific requirements information will be included in a Statement Of Work (SOW) to be disseminated during a Request For Proposal (RFP). The resultant award is contemplated as a contract with a base and four (4) one-year option periods. The RFP will be issued on or about 3 October 2006. Proposals may be submitted by facsimile or e-mail (only) and must be received by 3:00 PM Local Time, 20 October 2006. This procurement shall be awarded using a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 561410. All responsible offerors may submit a quotation that shall be considered by the agency. See Numbered Note 1.
