- The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) intends to award an order to Interactive Data Corporation, 3955 Point Eden Way, Hayward, CA 94545-3720 to provide ProNet Plus/Future World News (FWN) software on a sole source basis. Interactive Data Corporation is an Internet based news product that provides news and information on agricultural commodities and futures markets. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue an award under other than full and open competition and should not be considered a request for proposal. The determination of the Government not to open the subject requirement to full and open competition was made under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 20 September 2006 4:30 p.m. EDT. Award is anticipated on or about 21 September 2006.
