- Description
- Full line food distribution support including but not limited to fresh and/or frozen meats and poultry, frozen seafood, semi perishable products, beverages, and various other subsistence items (excluding fresh produce, fresh bakery items, and some fresh dairy items) for multiple military and non-DoD customers in Wisconsin. The upcoming solicitation will result in a two year base term contract with three additional option periods -- an eighteen month, one year and eighteen month option. The total contract period will be for six years. This acquisition has an estimated annual dollar value of $2.6 million. The resulting contract will have a 10% minimum dollar value guarantee. This contract will be awarded using Trade Off procedures (formerly known as Best Value), whereby technical and pricing factors are evaluated, with technical factors considered significantly more important. This is an Unrestricted acquisition. All responsible sources may submit proposals on each group separately or singly, and will be considered by the agency. Note: A pre-proposal conference will take place at a date and time set forth in the solicitation at the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, PA. Anticipated solicitation issuance date is 11 October 2006 and will be available electronically on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil.
