- Description
- The U.S. Army TACOM-Picatinny, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ has a requirement to support the U.S. Air Force effort to Load, Assemble and Pack (LAP) two versions of 105mm PGU Cartridges (PGU-44/B and PGU-43/B) for Air Force Special operations Command (AFSOC) for the AC130 Gunship training and tactical missions. This action shall be awarded as a result of a competitive solicitation limited to firms identified as being within the industrial mobilization base per FAR 6.302-3. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated for this effort. The proposed quantity requirements are as follows: 14,631 each PGU-43/B basic requirement plus 59,193 option quantities for the PGU-43/B cartridges and option quantities for 61,933 PGU-44/B cartridges. These requirements shall be filled over a five-year period covering FY06 – FY10 to include possible option years. The Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be available electronically at the following Internet address: http://procnet.pica.army.mil on or about 15 days from the date of this announcement. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database by accessing the CCR web site at http://www.ccr.gov in order to be eligible for contract award. Proposals shall be required within 30 days of the issuance of the RFP.
