- Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source requirement to Namtek Corporation, 19 Puritan Drive, Bedford, NH, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a follow-on requirement to provide continued warranties/maintenance on existing equipment for all field exercise, classified and unclassified non-NMCI, anti-terrorism, and force protection network infrastructure equipment, a significant portion of which is proprietary and unique to Camp Lejeune, NC and II Marine Expeditionary Forces (IIMEF), and are not fielded anywhere else in the Marine Corps or DoD in the same configuration. This includes the unconventional nuclear defense system, the chemical/biological defense system, the IP based AT/FP camera systems, and the Joint National Training Command Network (JTEN). Interested firms must submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses are due by 11:00 AM, 18 September 2006, via facsimile or email.
