- This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract to Motorola Corporation for the acquisition of the MOSCAD Control Equipment for the ASTRO 25 Remote Sites to enhance the Motorola Land Mobile Radio P25 trunking, AES encription and over the air rickey capability systems installed at MCAGCC Twentynine Palms. Interested persons may identify their interest and a capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the supplies or services sought including pricing data and technical sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available. The government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror?s ability to meet all requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The government will consider all Expressions of Interest (EOIs) received prior to 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis before 1200PM PST on that date. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. FED EX/HAND-CARRIED/FACSIMILE Expressions of Interest are due by 19 September 2006 1200PM (12:00PM) PST at Address: The Purchasing and Contracting Branch, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC)/Marine Corps Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MCAGTFTC), Bldg 1102, Door 22, Twentynine Palms, CA 92278, ATTN; Contracting Specialist Rick Dutton. All facsimile (transmission) pages must be clear in understanding; all pages of facsimile (transmission) must arrive and reach the office by the deadline specified, and any pages of facsimile (transmission) received after the specified deadline will not be considered. The submitter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmission and should confirm by telephone that any and all facsimile was received. This purchase will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii)(A).
