- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, FL (NSWC PC) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to the L.C. Doane Company of Ivoryton, CT. for the following items for use on the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC): Thirty-six (36) each light fixture, floor red, P/N 410-CR/400 SK#6220-LL-L04-4177 and One Hundred Eight (108) light fixture, P/N 410-C/400 SK# 6220-LL-L04-3746. These items are unsuitable for full and open competition for the following reasons. The material being procured has been determined to be 100% form, fit, and function compatible with the existing LCAC Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) equipment. Therefore it is in the best interest of the government to purchase equipment that will allow for re-use of the existing equipment. A firm-fixed-price order is anticipated. Award will be based on the written quotation. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity-Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7018. Anticipated award date will be on or about September 15, 2006. NAICS Code 335129 applies. FSC is 6210. SBA Size Standard is 1000 Employees.
