- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a modification to the AAR-47 (V)2 Missile Warning System contract (N00019-98-C-0006) with Alliant TechSystems Inc, Integrated Systems Division, Clearwater, Florida on a sole source basis for the following effort: to satisfy a requirement for the Retrofit of the Dynamic Blanking Engineering Change Proposal into approximately 55 United States Navy AAR-47 units. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Alliant TechSystems in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 because Alliant TechSystems is the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the AAR-47 (V) 2 design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
