- SOLICITATION NO: GSWR060205 - REQUEST FOR QUOTATION DATE: 13 September 2006 CLOSING DATE: 24 September 2006 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns. Item Description: One Nexsan SATABeast - rackmount fibre-to-SATA, single controller, 42-day, 4U, 512MB cache, configured with twenty (20) 500GB disk drives/7200 RPM Price is to be FOB Destination to Menlo Park, CA (ZIP code 94025). Delivery is to be 30 days after receipt of order. METHOD OF EVALUATION 1) Prospective contractors are advised that quotations will be evaluated solely upon price. Award will be made to the lowest-priced responsible and responsive offeror. Quotations are due by 3 PM PDT, Sunday, September 24, 2006 to the Contracting Officer in Sacramento, CA (USGS, Western Region Acquisition and Grants Branch, Attn: Ron Donez, 3020 State University Drive East, Suite 3001, Sacramento, CA 95819). Offers received after this time and date will not be considered. Offers are preferred by electronic means (email and fax), but are accepted by mail. E-mail address is rdonez@usgs.gov, fax number is 916-278-9339. Oral quotations will not be accepted. Prospective contractors are advised that the following provisions are applicable to this solicitation document.
