- The Government intends to issue a Sole Source Award under the authority of FAR 13.501 to Syntonics, LLC for a FORAX SC2 fiber optic remote amplifier extension. The fiber optic remote amplifier must have the capability to interoperate with all U.S. mi litary radios in the 30-512 MHz band and in all LOS and TACSAT modes. Provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to OfferorsCommercial Items and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. Best Value to the Gover nment will be used to evaluate offers. This includes, but is not limited to, the best price when considering the merits of all offers. Offers need to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification-Commercia l Items and descriptive literature of items being quoted with their offer. Offers must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration and should include their DUNS number, Cage Code and Federal Tax ID number. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Ter ms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offers are due by 2:00 P.M. The Government will consider all proposals received prior to the closing date. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Governm ent.
