Description

This is not a request for proposal. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this synopsis. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, has a requirement for Fitness Equpiment maintenance and repair services. Services Nonpersonal: Contractor must provide all, labor, tools, equipment, material and transportation necessary to provide Fitness equipment preventive maintenance and repair services in accordance with the attached statement of work. The solicitation or Request for Quote will be issued on or about 14 Sep 2006. Period of Performance is 1 Oct 06 - 30 Sep 07. The NAICS code is 811310. The solicitation or Request for Quote will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration website (http://www.ccr.gov) and have their Representation and Certifications Application filed under the new ORCA database (http://www.bpn.gov). If Representation and Certifications are not in the ORCA website then Representation and Certifications, FAR 52.212-3, must be accomplished and submitted with quote to be eligible for award. FAR 52.212-3 will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on the Internet at the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov). Please note that paper solicitations will not be issued, and all documents related to this requirement will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website.
