- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The 3rd Contracting Squadron, Elmendorf AFB, AK intends to award a sole source purchase order to North Slope Borough in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement between North Slope Borough and the United Stated Air Force dated 24 July 2006. Items to be procured: Base cost, daily consultant oversight of Air Force Landfill operations and travel and per-diem per round trip mobilization. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and other than full and open competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 13 September 2006. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on respones to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
