Description

The purpose of this modification is to add additional information that was requested. The particular arms that the Government is requesting are specifically for the Russ Basset furniture. Because of the specialized furniture, no installation will be asked for. Since there is no mounting required, the order can be drop shipped. The color of the arms would be black. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 337214 with a business size standard of 500 employees. The proposed contract is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106(b). This notice of intent is not a requiest for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis. All questions must be submitted in writing no later than 13 Sept 06.A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
