- Description
- The 37th Contracting Squadron is intending to award a sole-source purchase order to Honeywell Products Inc for Vindicator Alarm Upgrade. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The Justification is Air Force Instruction 31-101 and Lackland AFB Instruction 31-101, which states ?Alarm systems protecting (protection level) PL 4 resources (Controlled Areas) on LAFB use the Vindicator Alarm System. The anticipated award date is 22 Sep 06. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. The intent of this procurement is to award based on Sole Source requirement. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 and DFARS Change Notice 20060814, Standard Industrial Code 3669, North American Industry Classification System Code 334290 and Size Standard of 750 employees apply to this procurement.
