- Contractor shall furnish all necessary plant, labor, tools, transportation, supplies, supervision, equipment, materials and incidentals necessary to Upgrade five kitchen hood fire suppression systems at the Cressman Dining Hall (B334) to comply with newly revised standards UL 300 and NFPA 96, including piping and discharge nozzles, provide five (5) 3-gallon tanks of wet chemical fire extinguisher, recharge the existing and perform hydrostatic tests, and Upgrade the rear and front kitchen hood at the Cressman Dining Hall (B3220) to comply with newly revised standards UL 300 and NFPA 96, including discharge nozzles, provide three (3) 3-gallon tanks of wet chemical fire extinguishing agent, recharge the existing and perform hydrostatic tests. The magnitude of this project is below $25,000. NAICS Code is 238990 size standard $13 million. This acquisition is set-aside for Emerging Small Business, and is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (PL 100-656). Performance period is 45 calendar days after receipt of NTP. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The estimated posting date to the FedBizOps website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) of the Request For Quote will be 1 Sep 06. The site visit will be on or about (O/A) 14 Sep 06, and Proposal Due date O/A 19 Sep 06, the exact dates will be included in the RFQ when posted to FBO. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 and 252.232-7009 in order to receive award.
