- DESCRIPTION: This is a pre-solicitation notice for the refurbishment of mirrors and lenses for Holloman AFB, NM. Required items and services are commercial; therefore, FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, shall apply to this acquisition. Services shall include the refurbishment and recoating of government provided lenses and mirrors. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, supervision and any other incidentals as necessary to perform this service. Acquisition will be solicited as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Award selection will be made based on the Best Value to the government. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 333314. Reference No. F2E3CS6250A100 will be issued as an RFQ. The RFQ will be posted on or about 14 SEP 2006. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.eps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package. OTHER DETAILS: The solicitation will be posted on or before 14 Sep 2006 and MUST be downloaded from Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) at www.fbo.gov. DO NOT REQUEST VIA MAIL OR FAX.
