Description

The South Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS), Audie L. Murphy Division, 7400 Merton Minter Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78229-4404, intends to negotiate sole source IAW FAR 6.302-1, with Motorola, Inc., for the purchase and installation of a Motorola Antenna at the Frank Tejeda Outpatient Clinic (FTOPC). Motorola, Inc. is the sole source for providing and completing this phase of the integration/upgrade for the (FTOPC). Motorola, Inc. has the engineering background, training, and certifications to ensure this project will properly integrate with existing Motorola equipment. Equipment that does not meet the Motorola standards will create degradation to the effectiveness of the overall system. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation/request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Interested parties have seven (7) days from the date of this posting to submit their qualifications and capabilities in writing. Such qualifications and capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
