- The South Veterans Health Care System, Audie L. Murphy Division, 7400 Merton Minter Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78229-4404, IAW 6.302-2, intends to negotiate an unusual and compelling urgency with Wellness Technologies, Inc to purchase the following equipment for the Vascular Lab: Parks 2100SX Flo-Lab with Sonova Software (HIPPA Compliant) Discom and Temp Gun includes: Dual VPR, dual PPGs, Doppler, (8 HMZ and 4MHz0 and all necessary probes for arterial studies. Computer, printer, flat panel monitor, multiport inflator and cart: HP-Compaq Pentium 4-2.8Hz, 512 Ram, and 64 3000+processor, ZIP 750, 40 GR hard drive, CD-RW drive, Broadcom NetXtreme Ethernet, Windows XP professional SP2, HP5940 Desk jet printer, Planar 17_ flat panel monitor. Standard Cuffs and accessories. System carries a two-year warranty and probes and cuffs are warranted for six months. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation/request for offerors. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Interested parties have until September 18, 2006, 4:30 PM CST to submit their qualifications and capabilities in writing. Such qualifications and capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
