- Notice of intent to award sole source procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order by other than Full and Open Competition to in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1 (a) (1) (2) to provide a license and customer support for Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) software and customer support to FM Systems Inc., a Small Business Concern located at 4515 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh, NC 27609. The CAFM software is needed to support the DHS real property space management database and will allow integration of information into the database which has already been paid for and developed by an architecture and engineering firm for DHS. This software will allow DHS to consolidate space data with minimal integration and reformatting. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because FM Systems is the only developer that provides a CAFM software that will allow for integration within the existing data base with limited or no modifications. This procurement must be completed in a timely manner to meet mission requirements.
