Description

Contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, materials and qualified labor to perform the following work at Bldg 100, Defense Supply Center Richmond, 8000 Jefferson Davis Highway, Richmond, VA 23297. Work to include removing approx. 1400 SF of tile flooring, preparing sub floor and installing epoxy type flooring and wall base. The contractor shall install either the DSCR approved Tennant Eco floor coating or an "or equal" coating on all designated floors and wall base in Bldg 100, Child Development Center. No equipment, paint or debris shall be at the job site on Monday morning. All work shall be accomplished during weekend hours, Fridays 6 p.m. thru Sunday 3 p.m. or on holiday weekends in order to minimize the number of hours the CDC is closed. Specifications require all paint or paint type coatings to be non-toxic with low VOC. All work to be coordinated with Facilities Engineering Division. POC Danny Moore at 279-6753 or Bill Youmans at 279-4694. All OSHA and Center regulations shall be abided by. Requirement is set aside 100% for small business. Wage rate determination VA030033 dtd 7/7/06 applies. Solicitation should be available NLT 9/14/06 and responses may be faxed to Barbara Rowe at 804-279-3246. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration.
