- Reponses to non-technical questions on this solicitation that were received prior to September 11, 2006 are as follows: 1. What is the location of the pre-submittal conference? Do you have any parking recommendations? How long will the meeting last? The location of the Pre-submittal conference has been posted as a modification to the Pre-solicitation notice. The Pre-submittal Conference will be held at 10AM on Thursday, September 14, 2006, at the First National Bank Building, 401 West A Street, 3rd Floor Meeting Room, San Diego, CA 92101. The conference will take approximately one (1) hour, but may run longer. 2. Will the Pre-submittal Conference focus on the submittal process or will there be information specific to the site/project? The Pre-submittal Conference will cover both the submittal process and project specifics. 3. Will there be any type of site visit to the border station? Will photos be allowed to be taken of the site? Are any special clearances required for the site visit? A site tour will be arranged at a later date. Details surrounding the site visit will be revealed when a site tour is arranged. 4. Do you have an anticipated timeframe for award? The anticipated timeframe for award will be addressed at the Pre-submittal Conference on September 14, 2006. 5. May I be directed to where I may locate the RFP for GS-09P-06-KTC-3043? The Architect-Engineering team selected through the evaluation and selection process will be the only team to receive a Request for Proposal (RFP). 6. Must the projects submitted for the Past Performance requirement be complete or are projects at the construction or pre-construction stage acceptable as well? Project descriptions submitted for Past Performance requirements must be completed within the last 10 years. Projects in construction or pre-construction stage are not acceptable. 7. Is this a small business set-aside? No. All interested parties, large or small, may submit qualifications. 8. What is the location of the Small Business Outreach? The location of the Small Business Outreach will be determined and released at a later time. 9. Is there a way to find out who has shown interest in this project? Short-listed firms will be posted on FedBizOpps after qualifications have been received and reviewed. All other questions will be answered at the Pre-submittal Conference. Questions raised after the conference shall be submitted in writing to Robin Wong, via e-mail at robin.wong@gsa.gov.
