- Contracting Office Address: General Services Administration, Mountain Plains Service Center, DFC, Bldg. 41, Room 41, Denver, CO 80225-0546 Description: It is the intent of General Services Administration to request a proposal from Caterpillar, Inc. on a sole source basis, for the G3412 375 KW sound attenuated enclosure package as described below. 1 ea G3412 375KW Sound attenuated enclosure package. Sound Attenuated 75 dBA @23'. Approximate Dimensions 336"L x 120"W x 138"H. Approximate shipping weight 46,800 lbs. Unit to come with factory mounted dual breakers. Enclosure Details: 12 Gauge galvanized steel construction wall and ceiling panels. 4.5" deep insulated panels. Prime and finish enamel paint, color per Customer, Sand or Tan, TBD. Critical grade exhaust silencer, interior mounted, with flex. Two service doors (one on each side) and One single entrance door all pad lockable. Motorized intake dampers with sound hood. Gravity discharge dampers. Structural steel enclosure frame assembly to accommodate enclosure and genset. Ground lug at end of the base (external). 4 point lift lug. Vibration isolators. Skid Electrical: 120/240 VAC 1P3W Service Panel. Four (4) Interior AC Lights with Switch. Two (2) Interior GFCI Receptacles. Two 5kW Enclosure Heaters to maintain enclosure temperature 45 degF @ -15 degF Amb. Connection of engine auxiliaries. Low Lube Oil Level Shutdown Switch. Oil pump circulating oil heater package, to include: One (1) lube oil heater 2000 watt 240 vac. One (1) Thermostat 80 Degree F On, 100 Degree F Off. One (1) Oil Pump- 1HP - 2.6 GPM. Controller with run relay interlock. Approximate total current draw at 240 vac single phase - 16.8 Amp. 2 ea Automatic Transfer Switches. GE Zenith, 3 pole, 4 wire, 480/277 volt, delay transition, in NEMA1 enclosures. 1 ea, 225 Amp. 1 ea, 400 Amp. 1 ea Startup and Commissioning, on site to include: 1 day test, check of all systems, commission, after installation by contractor (1 day on site). 4 hour load test with 1.0 PF resistive load bank (1 day on site). 2 hour O&M training: (schedule at customers convenience).
