Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). RFQ#M67399-06-Q-0032 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-12. This is a restricted purchase for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 332322. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this order is 3444. The small business size standard is 500 EMP. The Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) rating for this order is DO-C9. The Federal Supply Classification (FSC) for this order is 9905. CLIN 0001-ASSEMBLED VERTICAL SIGN FRAMES. SIGN FRAMES ARE TO BE APPROXIMATELY 104? TALL AND APPROXIMATELY 28? WIDE BEFORE INSTALLATION. EACH SIGN FRAME HAS 5 RUNGS IN WHICH SIGNS CAN BE EASILY REMOVED AND REPLACED. THE DISTANCE BETWEEN RUNGS IS APPROXIMATELY 24?. THIS ALLOWS FOR A TOTAL OF 4 SIGNS TO BE PLACED IN THE SIGN FRAME. THE SIGN FRAME MUST BE ABLE TO WITHSTAND A DESERT ENVIRONMENT (EXTREME AND SUDDEN TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCES, BLASTING BY WIND DRIVEN SAND, ETC).
