- This synopsis is issued as a modification to previously synopsized requirement N66001-06-Q-1088 posted 20 June 2006. The material for the custom fabricated package has been changed from Aluminum Nitride to Alumina. The following synopsis reflects the revised material requirement. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC SD) intends to issue an updated Request for Quote (RFQ) No. N66001-06-Q-1176 for prototype High- Temperature Co-Fired Ceramic (HTCC) Alumina custom fabricated packages in support of the Micro-Electro-Mechanical Ultra Sensitive (MEMS) accelorometer program. An overview of the package is attached. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 334419 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. All responsible small business source may submit a quote that shall be considered by the Government. The RFQ will only be available electronically on the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command E-Commerce Web Page at https://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil under SSC SD "Open Solicitations". Any amendments, when issued, will also be available only on this web site. The estimated release date of the revised RFQ is 18 Sep 2006. Numbered Note 1 applies.
