- Description
- In support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound is procuring one die sinker machine through full and open competition procedures. The requirement is for one ONA brand named EDM machine Model NX-400 or equal computer numeric control (CNC) die sinker machine. This system is to include the installation and testing of the equipment and the training of operator and maintenance personnel. FOB Destination Silverdale WA 98315. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO website on or about 14 September 2006 with an anticipated closing date of 22 September 2006. A firm fixed priced supply type contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The desired delivery is 90 days after date of award. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by FISC Puget Sound. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments, The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents.
