- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U. S. Army Intelligence and Security Command has a requirement for the purchase of 150 each 30 GB ipods, 150 each Contour iSee cases, 150 2 year extended warranties for the 30 GB ipods and 50 each Micromemos. FOB is Fort George Meade, MD. Delivery is 30 days ARO. This is a 100% small business. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6 and incorporates the provisions and clauses current in effect. This annoucement constitues the only solicitation document; quotes are bing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Responses must contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to full the requirement. The NAICS code is 443112 and the small business size standard i s $8,000,000. The clause at 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items. Any offerors must include a completed copy of the provisio n at 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications Commercial items with its offer. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) to be eligible for award. Responses are due by COB 18 September 2006. Quotations shall be ema iled to alvin.s.spitzer@us.army.mil.
