Description
The US Army Communications, Electronics, Life Cycle Management Command (CE-LCMC), Acquisition Center Washington intends to award a purchase order on a fixed price basis for modification/upgrade of four (4) each Government Furnished AN/TAS units (Ther mal Night Sight) (also known as the ANTAS-4X and currently as the ATAS-2000, an upgrade to the TOW (Tube-launched, Optically-tracked, Wire-guided missile system night sight) to include the following: a. Add 40 ft cable for remote control of brightness, contrast, polarity, and filter through RS-232 via laptop; b. On/Off remote operation; c. RS-170 video link from unit so it can be connected to a user display; d. Operation from 24 volt source from remote point; and, e. furnish sufficient cabling to operate the Government supplied Field of View (FOV) and Focus control system. The period of performance is three (3) months from date of award. The Thermal Night Sight units will be furnished to the awardee within ten (10) days of contract award. Offerors MUST provide past performance information (contract numbers and points-of-co ntact) evidencing their experience with night sight/detection equipment. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation and constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All responses should be received via email within 10 calendar days of the date of this notice. The anticipated award date is 10 days from closing date of this notice. Award will be made IAW Simplified Acquisition Procedures. To be eligible for award, registration in the Centra lized Contractor Registration Database and Business Partner Network is mandatory.
