- Description
- The North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System is located in north central Florida, Gainesville, Florida. Our medical center issues government owned durable medical equipment to be delivered to our veterans in a turn-key type operation. The Government will provide the warehouse and office space. The Offeror will be required to work out of our leased space. One employee on duty during business hours (8a-4:30p M-F), provide for delivery and set up of equipment, pick-up of equipment from veterans homes, decontaminated and returned to inventory for reissue. We service patients within a 500-mile radius. All offeror's must be JCAHO certified at the time of award and throughout the life of the contract. The NACIS code for this service is 621610 ($12.5 Million). Estimated start date will be October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007 with four optional years for renewal. Solicitation will be ready on or before 9/15/06.
