- Description
- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) intends to negotiate on a Sole Source Basis with Digital Receiver Tech, Inc. Germantown, MD to upgrade ATF?s current DRT units. Items to be procure are as follows: Item 0001: DRT 1000/DEX1: Digital Exiter Module (Qty 2 each); Item 0002: DRT 1000/TEX1: Transmitter Exiter Module (Qty 2 each); Item 0003: DRT 9955B-1 TRAM (Qty 2 each). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. There is no solicitation available for this requirement. This requirement will be awarded through the Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. The closing date for this requirement is September 13, 2006, 2:00pm EST.
