- Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Regional Office intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract utilizing simplified acquisition procedures under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1) to Kelman, 4147 N. Ravenswood Avenue, Chicago, IL 60613. Kelman is the only known source for an easily transportable dissolved gas analyzer (DGA) that uses photo-acoustic spectroscopy technology for use in field locations. This is a commercial item acquisition per FAR Part 12. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all quotations received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS Code is 334513 and the applicable size standard is 500 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations by emailing the Contract Specialist, Arlene Amundson, at amundson@wapa.gov no later than 10 calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis.
