Description

The purpose of this notification is to AMEND the Pre-Solicitation Notice for the prospective Solicitation SAQMPD-06-R-1096. The original description remains unchanged, the prospective work will still be for support of the Overseas Emergency & Evacuation/ Emergency Action Committee Radio Networks Program. However, this Pre- Solicitation notice is revised to add the following information: The prospective solicitation will be issued on a Full and Open Competitive basis, the proposed Radios must be P25 (TIA-102) compatible. The DoS intends to issue the actual Solicitation/RFP between July 24, 2006 and August 4, 2006, the prospective RFP will be posted on the FedBizOps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Paper copies of the resultant Solicitation will not be mailed, faxed or e-mailed. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the website for release of the RFP and amendments (if any). Please Note: This is an amendment to a Pre-Solicitation Notice only and not the actual solicitation/RFP. All other information provided in the original Pre-Solicitation notice (which was posted on 6/8/06) remains unchanged; this notification is issued to supplement not remove any information. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (15-AUG-2006).
