- Description
- The US Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (TACOM-ARDEC), Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey intends to issue a solicitation for production of M1020 120MM Ignition Cartridges for Mortar Ammunition. Production of ignition cartridges involves the handling of energetic materials. The Government anticipates restricting this solicitation to the National Technology and Industrial Base (NTIB). The Government expects to award a Firm Fixed Price contract consisting of a FY06 base year plus 4 options (FY07-FY10). The anticipated quantity for the base year is 34,000 M1020 Ignition Cartridges. The maximum quantity anticipated for the four evaluated options is 869,000 M1020 Ignition Cartridges. Potential offerors are required to request, sign and return a Confidential Non-Disclosure Statement and Non-Use Agreement prior to receiving the TDP. It is expected that the solicitation will be posted on or about August 4, 2006.
