- Description
- The Navy has a small purchase requirement for Information Technology technical services/support for the Defense Working Capital Fund Accounting System (DWAS), Financial Analysis and technical support. DWAS was chosen as the replacement financial system for the Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) Facilities Engineering Commands (FECs). The Navy requires technical services for all sites to support NAVFAC DWAS users to include liaison effort, DWAS support for FECs, and Corporate Financial Initiatives, and requisite technical and interface support in accordance with the government Statement of Work. The Navy requires approximately four (4) man-years of support effort with a man-year equivalent to 2,080 hours to include vacation and leave. The period of performance is for one year. Most of the funding will be provided early in fiscal year 2007. This acquisition is set aside for small business. Contract award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal is compliant with the solicitation, and is determined to be best value to the government considering technical, price, and other factors considered. Award will be made under simplified acquisition procedures outlined in FAR Parts 12 and 13. The point of contact is Naomi Melendez, 202-685-8051.
