Description
CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS: Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, 110 9th Avenue South, Room A-604, Nashville, TN 37203. DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation, full and open competition, utilizing the associated NAICS code 561613, size standard of $11.5 million dollars, SIC code of 7381. Solicit ation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. Provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors  Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include with their offer a c ompleted copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions  Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Exe cutive Orders  Commercial Items, are applicable to this acquisition. The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ), W912P5-06-T-0028, for the acquisition of armored car services, to include all personnel, supervision, transportation (armored car vehicles), and labor (armed professi onal guards) and other items and services necessary to perform driving, pick-up and delivery of cash and other monetary documents (i.e. checks, change orders, etc.) from the Nashville, TN, Federal Building to the Nashville, TN, Federal Reserve Bank. Arme d guard will pick up collections from the Nashville District Corps of Engineers Resource Management Office upon telephonic request, but not more than once a day, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and transport the co llections to the Federal Reserve Bank. The Department of Labor Wage Determination Number 1994-2497, Revision Number 27, dated 05/24/2006, for the Nashville, TN, Davidson County, applies to this solicitation. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed p rice contract for the base period of 1 October 2006 through 30 September 2007 with four option years.
