- --The Information Technology E-Commerce and Commercial Contracting Center (ITEC4), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, with Scheduled Airlines Traffic Offices, Inc. (SATO) a large business -- for the acquisition of official travel manageme nt and related additional services on a point of sale basis, to support official travel activities of authorized Department of Defense ( DoD ) travelers who are supported by organizations within Defense Travel Region 6 (DTR 6) -- or who are assigned to the following DoD agencies: Defense Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Office (DPMO), Defense Information Service Agency (DISA), Denver, CO, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) Mid Atlantic and Central Region, Defense Logistic Agency (Hawaii and Pacific). O fficial travel is travel (includes TDY, PCS, evacuation, travel by Reserve Component members, and civilians on invitational travel orders) in connection with official business of the United States Government and performed under orders at the expense of fed eral appropriated and nonappropriated funds. These travel management services shall be provided using both traditional methods and automated methods using the Defense Travel System (DTS) web portal. The period of performance is for a base period of seven (7) months and five (5) one (1) month option periods. This announcement is in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1).
