- Description
- Snowplough is for vehicle mounting. Require 4 snow ploughs to be attached to 3 1989 10t International Dump Trucks and 1 1984 10t GMC Dump Truck, American spec, by a mounting plate that enables a quick release mechanism by an integral hydraulic system operated from within the cab of the vehicles. Controlling hydraulic rams for raise/lower/left and right must be efficient/compact and reliable. The plough turning radius must be sufficient enough to disperse snow/slush/loose ice, min 30deg angle. The plough must be made of a neoprene type material with a length of 12ft or approx 3600mm; the wear edges must be made of a material that is 25-30mm thick and allows a squeegee operation of the ground. The wear edge must also be designed to allow it to pass over objects mounted within the ground without damage to the object or the wear edge. The plough must be able to run on castor wheels that are adjusted by a handle mechanism that gives total control over ride height. In accomplishing the above, the contractor is liable for any damage to the vehicles beyond the specified work.
