- Contractor to perform preventive maintenance services on Pitney Bowes brand Postage Machines which are owned and operated by Mcguire Air Force Base, NJ. This is a commercial acquisition. This solicitation is a request for quotation and is issued as a 100% Full and Open competition under the Standard Industrial Classification code - 7699, NAICS code - 811219, and the related Size Standard - $6.5 million. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. The period of performance is 1 October 2006 through 30 September 2007. All potential sources must obtain a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number and register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to transact business with the Department of Defense (DoD). Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror.
