- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. 45 CONS/LGCAB has a requirement for 33 ADJUSTABLE ERGONOMIC TASK CHAIRS, MID-BACK WITHOUT HEADREST, 3 ADJUSTABLE ERGONOMIC TASK CHAIRS, MID-BACK WITH HEADREST, 1 ADJUSTABLE ERGONOMIC TASK CHAIR FULL-BACK WITH HEADREST, AND 1 ADJUSTABLE ERGONOMIC TASK CHAIR FULL-BACK WITHOUT HEADREST. Manufactured by Nightingale and/or Aeron. BRAND NAME OR EQUAL. Delivery must be included in quote. This product will be FOB Destination at Patrick AFB, FL. Period of performance/expected delivery date will be contained within the solicitation package. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small-business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-06-T-0430 will be issued as a Request for Quote. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 2522, FSC of 7110, business size of 500 employees, and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 423210. GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide their GSA Schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued by vendor request to POC below. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-6193), or e-mail. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at the CCR Internet site, http://www.ccr.gov.
