- This is a Sources Sought Notice only. No solicitation is being issued at this time. For reference purposes, the solicitation, when issued, will be numbered FA2517-06-T-6072. The amount of information available for publication at this time is limited. The solicitation, when issued, will be a Request for Quotes (RFQ). Cost and Technically Acceptable will likely be the method of contractor evaluation/selection. The 21st Contracting Squadron at Peterson Air Force Base (PAFB), Colorado, seeks potential sources to provide Document Detective software, SRS Technologies(or equal). Software discription available at http://www.stg.srs.com/eds/docdet. All businesses capable of providing these services are invited to respond. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought synopsis. If interested in this proposed acquisition the government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size, business status (i.e., small business, disabled veteran, disadvantaged, HUB zone, woman-owned), anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers. Include contract magnitude and points of contact for each example provided (name of the point of contact (POC), address, e-mail, telephone number, fax number, and the company's web page, if applicable). Please limit your response to not more than 10 single-sided pages. Submission shall include one electronic (virus scanned) copy sent via e-mail to the POCs listed under Original Point of Contact. Contract performance period is unknown at this time. The Government is contemplating award of a Firm Fixed Price requirements contract. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code we anticipate using is 423430, Computer and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software Merchant Wholesalers. All potential offerors are reminded, in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, lack of registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. This Sources Sought Notice is also issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10.
