- This amendment is issued to clarify the date for the 22nd Annual Small Business in the Sunshine Conference is 15 NOVEMBER 2006. For additional information and to register, please go to www.fptac.org. - - - - - - - The primary objective of the 22nd Annual Small Business in the Sunshine Conference is to assist small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, woman-owned small businesses, small businesses located in historically underutilized business zones (HUBZones), and veteran and service disabled veteran owned small businesses in dealings with the federal government and prime contractors. This conference is presented in conjunction with Congressman Allen Boyd, Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida Procurement Technical Assistance Center, the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, and the University of West Florida Small Business Development Center, to bring small business issues to the forefront of American policy. The conference will be held 15 NOVEMBER 2006, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Hilton - Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort & Spa in Destin, Florida. The registration fee of $25 per person (pre-registered) or $35 (day of conference)includes numerous opportunities for one-on-one counseling and timely seminars.
