- Courier Services to include Contractor providing all equipment, labor and transportation for direct delivery courier service from the Department of Veterans Affairs/VA Medical Center (VAMC), Butler PA 16001 to the VA Medical Center (VAMC), Pittsburgh PA, ITXM/Central Blood Bank, Pittsburgh PA, and Butler Memorial Hospital, Butler, PA; and from the Mercer County Outpatient Clinic, 295 N. Kerrwood Drive/Suite 110, Hermitage, PA to the laboratory at the Butler VAMC. for the period November 1, 2006 through October 31, 2007. Provide a fixed rate for all costs for courier service by company, i.e., vehicle, uniformed driver, gas, mileage, time, weight, etc. The contractor will be contacted by the VAMC Butler, PA Contracting Officer?s Technical Representative (COTR) or his/her designee, and be dispatched immediately to pick up and deliver laboratory specimens directly to the destinations. The laboratory specimens are critical to patient care and may be involved in life threatening situations. Minimum transport time is of critical importance. Naics Code is 492110. Size Standard is 1500 employees. This is a total small business set-aside. Solicitation documents available on the web only.
